About the project THE BASE Central Phuket

Three 8-storey residential buildings on a plot of approximately 4 rai (about 6,400 sq m). 590 units in total, with no commercial units in the project. The developer gives 2020 as the completion year. The legal owner of the project is not Sansiri PLC itself but Arnawat Limited Company, registration number 0105546144865; the condominium is registered under number 7/2563.

There are twenty-seven layouts, with areas from 24.50 to 62.75 sq m. Everything up to and including 28.50 sq m (types 1A, 1Am and the whole 1B group) is drawn as a single volume: living area, dining area and bed with no partition between them, which makes it a studio — although the developer's type table files these units under one-bedroom. A real bedroom behind a wall with a door appears from 30.50 sq m (the 1C group). The 53.50–53.75 sq m format is a bedroom plus a separate multi-purpose room and a bathtub instead of a shower. Two-bedroom units come in two branches: 45.75–52.50 sq m with one bathroom, and 62.00–62.75 sq m with two, where the master bedroom has its own bathroom with a tub.

The developer publishes floor plans for all eight storeys. A unit number reads as building-floor-number: on the first floor units exist only in building one, and the rest of that level is taken by the lobby, the juristic person office, parking and a pool. The fitness room sits on the second floor according to the plans.

There are two pools on different levels: per the brochure, one on the ground floor of Building A — with a children's pool and a jacuzzi — and a second on the second floor of Building B. Alongside them the site has a lobby, a fitness room with equipment, a multi-purpose area, a garden with an open-air recreation area, Wi-Fi in the lobby, multi-purpose areas, fitness room, garden and pool areas, parking, an EV charging station, and 24-hour security and CCTV. The project page separately names a clubhouse.

Wichit is a subdistrict of Mueang Phuket, on the eastern side of the island next to Phuket Town. Per the brochure it is 300 metres to the Central Phuket Floresta mall, and the plot itself faces the main bypass road. The developer's map pins five more places without stating distances: Annebra King Power Phuket, IKEA Phuket, Head Start International School, Darasamuth Phuket School and Phuket International Hospital.

A note on the address: the brochure's specification table and the project page put the building in Wichit sub-district of Mueang Phuket, and the developer's own coordinates fall there too. The legal paragraph of the same brochure names a different place — Thep Kra Satri Road in Tarad Yai. We give the address from the table and the map, because two sources out of three agree with each other.

Features of the complex

Two pools on different levels: Per the brochure, one pool sits on the ground floor of Building A, with a children's pool and a jacuzzi; the second is on the second floor of Building B.
The Sound Dome: In the communal sitting room the developer set aside a sound-insulated nook under that name — a place to shut out noise without leaving the shared area.
Fitness with windows on three sides: The room opens onto the garden on three sides; light is filtered through a screen patterned with peonies, and the ceiling is shaped as a wave.
A lobby with local motifs: The walk to the lift hall is topped with timber louvres that open and close, and the furniture is upholstered in locally patterned batik fabrics.
A facade after the cliffs: The facade, the developer says, takes its cue from Phuket's multilevel cliffs, and the balconies are arranged so as not to look into neighbouring homes.
Twenty-seven layouts: From 24.50 to 62.75 sq m. By the drawings that is eight studios, four one-bedroom units, three 53 sq m formats with a bedroom plus a separate room, ten two-bedroom units with one bathroom and two with two.
The compact formats are studios by the drawing: Everything up to 28.50 sq m is drawn as a single volume with no partition between the living area and the bed, although the developer's type table calls these units one-bedroom.
53 sq m: a bedroom plus a separate room: The 53.50–53.75 sq m format has, besides the bedroom, a multi-purpose room behind a wall and a bathtub instead of a shower.
