Surin Sands

Surin Sands is 82 apartments by Surin beach, completed in the fourth quarter of 2022. The developer is Ocean Group Asia, a property management company since 2009 that later began building itself.

Eighty-two apartments is boutique scale for Phuket, where neighbouring projects run to three and four hundred. The building is finished, so judge it by fact: the state of the common areas, occupancy, how the management works.

Surin is a narrow beach between Bang Tao and Kamala, hemmed in by hills. It costs more than its neighbours and is less built up: restaurants and hotels line the shore and there are no large malls.

The developer has other island projects too — Oceana Surin and Palmyrah. All of them stay in the same district, which is unusual: developers more often spread across Phuket.
