Maison Sky Villas is eight pool villas in northern Phuket, near Mai Khao. The developer is Maison Development, which also runs the Phuvista line nearby.
Eight houses is a closed group rather than a village: few enough that everyone knows their neighbours, with the shared grounds split eight ways. Each villa has its own pool.
Mai Khao is the island's longest and emptiest beach, part of Sirinat National Park. The airport is ten minutes away and resort life is far off: there are few restaurants and shops, and people drive to Thalang or Bang Tao for them.
Format and location agree: eight villas by an empty beach are bought for the quiet, and rented to people looking for the same.
